TUMMP STUDENT PREP PROGRAM
PREPARING STUDENTS FOR TOMORROW.
At The Unstoppable Mighty Marching Panthers (TUMMP), we believe that excellence begins long before the first note is played. Our TUMMP Student Prep Program is designed to ensure that every student is prepared not only for success in the band, but also for success in the classroom and beyond. By combining academic support, leadership development, and post-secondary planning, we are committed to helping our students build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
Each week, students participate in Study Tables before rehearsal, where they have dedicated time to complete assignments, receive academic support, and develop productive study habits. As students prepare for life after high school, the program also offers ACT preparation sessions, career readiness initiatives, and workshops focused on resume building, interviewing, financial literacy, and professional development. These opportunities help students discover their passions, set meaningful goals, and prepare for the next chapter of their educational and professional journeys.
The TUMMP Student Prep Program extends learning beyond the classroom through college tours that expose students to a variety of campuses, cultures, and educational opportunities. By visiting colleges and universities, students gain firsthand insight into higher education while envisioning their own future. At TUMMP, we are developing well-rounded leaders, scholars, and musicians who understand that discipline, preparation, and perseverance open doors far beyond the marching field. Our goal is to ensure that every student leaves our program equipped with the knowledge, experiences, and confidence to succeed wherever life takes them.
